10th December – Universal Human Rights DayParliamentarians Commission for Human Rights in Collaboration with National Assembly Parliamentary Taskforce on SDGs commemorated “Universal Human Rights Day”. ED PCHR Mr.Shafique Chaudhry Moderated the Event while Chairman PCHR and Convenor NA Taskforce on SDGs MNA Mr.Riaz Fatyana MP in his welcome remarks stated ‘Human Rights are the heart of SDGs Agenda 2030’The event was attended by Parliamentarians, Diplomats, Civil Society, Journalists, and Renowned Human Rights Activists.Parliamentary HR Awards were conferred to Hon. MNA Ms.Mehnaz Akber Aziz, Hon. MNA Ms.NafeesaKhattak and MNA Ms.ShandanaGulzar, Two Special Achievement Awards were also conferred to Justice (R) Ali Nawaz Chauhan and Ms. Mishal Malik for their outstanding work for Human Rights.
